There is always room for improvement on a farm even if the farmers believe that they are doing well. After some discussions, they almost always agree on the issues that could be done better.
Today, a French volunteer and I visited a local farmer with crossbreed cows in the town Fatick. These farmers are more progressive and have some understanding of the importance of having cows with better genetic potential, but also for the need of follow up with better feed and improved feeding practices.
