Local harvest becomes local ketchup

Why import tomatoes when locally-harvested tomatoes are being thrown away? Manisha Dhatrak, a businesswoman in India, decided to set up a plant and process locally-grown tomatoes. She approached Unilever and today, her company, Varun Agro, is one of Unilever’s key strategic suppliers for Kissan Ketchup.
