Waste reduction from farm to fork

Food waste can occur at every phase of the food industry’s value chain and effective collaboration amongst all stakeholders is essential in reducing food waste across the total supply chain.

The newly established International Food Waste Coalition gathers businesses and NGOs in the common task to inspire companies to adopt comprehensive food waste programmes. PepsiCo, Unilever and World Wildlife Foundation are already on board this initiative.
