I visited the local veterinarian station in Fatick to get an understanding of what kind of service they offer to the farmers. I found out that most of their time is spent on sanitarian inspections of food items on the local markets, by directive from the Government.
A few days later I met a local veterinarian in the village Tattaguine. He actually supported the local farmers with veterinarian services and also did sanitarian inspections. Furthermore, he gives support to the Government by the registration of people eligible for taking part in elections.
